Contract Signing for Wayang Windu Unit 3 – Power Plant Project for Star Energy Geothermal (Wayang Windu) Limited

PT Inti Karya Persada Tehnik (President Director Atsushi Yoshihara, “IKPT”), a subsidiary of Toyo Engineering Corporation (President and CEO Eiji Hosoi) has signed a Contract for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction of the Wayang Windu Unit 3 – Geothermal Power Plant Project (“Project”) with Star Energy Geothermal (Wayang Windu) Limited (“SEGWWL”), a subsidiary of PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk. (“BREN”)

IKPT will undertake the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) work for the project, which is slated for completion in 2026.

This Project is part of Indonesian Electricity Master Plan (Rencana Usaha Penyediaan Tenaga Listrik or RUPTL 2021 – 2030), a ten (10) year electricity development plan for the operational areas of PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero), commonly known as PLN. Furthermore, it aligns with Indonesia’s goal  of to enhance the use of Renewable Energy, contributing to the country’s carbon neutrality targets and environmental sustainability by maximizing clean energy utilization.
