Ground Breaking New Polyethylene Project
The Ground Breaking Ceremony of Indonesian Polyethylene Project was held in February 2, 2018, Cilegon, Banten. TOYO awarded this project from PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk (CAP), Indonesian largest Petrochemical Company. The project involves construction of a Polyethylene Production Unit of HDPE, LLDPE and mLLDPE with a total capacity of 400,000 tons/year at CAP’s existing Petrochemical Complex in Indonesia.
In the warm address from the client “Because we could reduce to import PE products, this project is contributing a lot not only for CAP and Cilegon economics but also Indonesian economics. Together with CAP, TOYO and all Subcontractors shall unite one team to success this project with safety first and on time completion.”
This is an EPC Turnkey lump sum project, Toyo-Japan and Toyo-Korea belongs to offshore service portion for the detailed engineering & offshore supply services, and IKPT belongs to the Domestic procurement and construction work respectively. Expected completion for the project is in 2019.
