A Green Prosperity Model Project – Wakatobi
Solar Photovoltaic Electricity for Tomia Island Wakatobi Project is to newly establish an electricity service with solar photovoltaic (PV) generation, distribution and billing system, which uses Off Grid System on remote island in the Wakatobi regency, South East Sulawesi Province, Indonesia.
The Project is aimed at developing 4 off-grid Solar PV power generation systems with total installed capacity of 800 kWp, distribution lines, 1,029 household installations in 5 remote villages. The project will replace communal diesel generators which are currently used by the communities in the targeted villages.
Following Detail Engineering services for Solar Photovoltaic Electricity for Tomia Island-Wakatobi, IKPT was awarded contract for Procurement and Construction by Millenium Challenge Account Indonesia (MCA-Indonesia) under PT. Puriver Indonesia as Project Implementer. Contract signing was taken place at MCA-I office on 22 June 2017.
