IKPT Signs Small Scale Dieng Geothermal Power Plant Project Contract
The Indonesian government is currently promoting the use of geothermal energy. The generation of renewable energy (EBT), one of which is geothermal, is very important to be developed to produce electricity from clean energy.
To realize this, PT. Geo Dipa Energi (Persero) as a Client has appointed PT. Inti Karya Persada Tehnik as the implementing contractor to work on a 1×10 MW Small Scale Geothermal Power Plant Project location in Dieng, Central Java with a project duration of 18 months (until 2021).
Coinciding with the inauguration of the opening of the 7th International Geothermal Convention and Exhibition (IIGCE) 2019 Indonesia, located at the Assembly Hall, Jakarta Convention Center, on August 13, 2019, at 11:00 and opened by Mr. Jusuf Kalla, Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, the contract signing was also held at the same time for the Dieng Small Scale Geothermal Power Project (1x10MW), attended and signed by both parties, namely by President Director of PT. Geo Dipa Energi, Mr. Riki Firmandha Ibrahim and President Director of PT. IKPT, Mr. Yasuhiro Hime. The signing ceremony was also witnessed by the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Jusuf Kalla, Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Mr. Arcandra Tahar, Acting President Director of PT PLN, Mrs. Sripeni Inten Cahyani, and also President of PT. Toshiba Asia Pacific / Indonesia, Mr. Fumihiro Okada.
IKPT who has experience in working on Geothermal Power Plant Development before with various of capacities, IKPT will prove that IKPT is able to work and complete the Engineering, Procurement and Construction work in a timely and high-quality manner meet project specifications particularly for this project Dieng Small Scale Geothermal Power Project with a capacity of 1×10 MW.
