IKPT Wins Wakatobi Islands Solar Photovoltaic Project Contract
Solar Photovoltaic Electricity or solar power plant is a electrical power plant that was energy transformed from sunlight using solar cells.
Puriver Indonesia as implementer gets Photovoltaic Solar Electricity Project from Millenium Challenge Account Indonesia (MCA-I). PT Puriver Indonesia entrust Detail Engineering Design (DED) to IKPT as EPC Contractor who has a reputation and a good track record. On 1 November 2016, both sides have signed the contract after get approval from Millenium Challenge Account Indonesia (MCA-I).
The electrical energy generated by the Solar Photovoltaic Electricity Project will be distributed to the public / population at five villages in Tomia Island, Wakatobi, Southeast Sulawesi.
Photovoltaic Solar Electricity Project in Tomia Island, Wakatobi generates around 520 kilo watt peak for five villages, namely:
- Kahianga & Wawotimu 80 kilo Watt Peak
- Kulati 140 kilo Watt Peak
- Date 90 kilo Watt Peak
- Lamanggau 210 kilo Watt Peak
Wakatobi is located in heartland that have not been so served by good infrastructure, so that the government will facilitate the Solar Photovoltaic Electricity development.
