Coal Boiler Project

In August 2012,  IKPT has been successfully to build coal boiler plant with capacity 2 x 220 MTPH of Circulating Fluidized Bed (CFD) Boiler at PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur, Bontang – East Kalimantan. This Boiler is built as centralizing steam generator  to supply steam to existing Fertilizer Plant of PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur, including New Plant (Kaltim-5).

For supporting facilities, IKPT also built a new Jetty completed with 700 T/h Coal Barge Unloader (CBU) and 40,000 MT Coal Dome Storage including its Stacker & Reclaimer. Special to the Coal Dome Storage, this is one the largest indoor coal storage in Indonesia.
