PT Inti Karya Persada Tehnik (IKPT)
is a private engineering and construction company listed
in Indonesia, having its head office in Jakarta. IKPT
was established in February 1982 under the law of
Indonesia, IKPT provides an array of services for heavy
industries such as; project management, design
Engineering, Procurement, Construction activities, for
LNG, Oil and Gasa, Refinery, Chemical, Petrochemical,
Powerplant, and other heavy industries (mining, dock,
building.
From the beginning IKPT has set its goals to be a
world-class contractor and to be known worldwide for its
excellent performance and capabilities. To meet this
endeavor IKPT has directly participated in projects,
varying in complexity and size, in Indonesia and several
other parts of the world.
Through hard work and dedication, eight years after its
establishment, IKPT was awarded an EPC contract as the
main contractor for the Ammonia and Urea plant in Gresik,
which is the smallest in the world (100m x 100m), and
therefore considered quite revolutionery.
Other achievement were accomplished in 1991, where IKPT
was awarded an EPC contract as the main contractor for
the LNG Train F in Bontang, East Kalimantan. IKPT
completed the project one month ahead of schedule and
received an award for 12 million man-hours for continous
work with zero accidents or fatalities.
These and other quality works were achieved by IKPT due
to the quality of human resources, the know-how to
execute the work and the ability to manage each step
accordingly to meet one goal |
