Project Description This is the sixth train expansion project of existing 5 LNG Trains in Bontang, with the purpose of increasing the LNG production capacity to meet with LNG world demand. Long term sales contract for 20 years has been secured between Pertamina and buyer from Japan onOctober 1990.

Scope of Services With fixed lump sum price contract IKPT is responsible for the entire of scope of work including engineering, procurement of equipment and material, and construction work out to the mechanical completion of the plant, until final acceptance by the client. Contractually IKPT is to achieve a minimum of 40% local content.

- Project completed 1 month ahead of schedule.
- Received citation for 12 month save manhours without downtime (accident-free)
- Produced first drop of LNG in record time in 5½ days compared to world's best of 7½ days.
- IKPT became the "sixth member" of proven LNG builder in the world.
