IKPT has been conducting social activities since its establishment in 1982.  The intention of IKPT's social act is to encourage moral and ethic awairness and conduct of the company for the surrounding community.  Indirectly it creates values that meet the expectation and needs of stakeholders.

Choosing local before imported resources, IKPT helps local communities and domestic industries enhance its capabilities.  Human resources, materials and service, whenever possible, are obtained form the immediate surroundings, providing opportunities for local people to meet international standards of operations.

Social services: donations for; elderly homes, orphan homes, blood donations for the Red Cross, scholarship, health care for; senior citizen, babies/toddlers, adult, nutrition program for unfortunate families, donation for elementary school (computer, lab prop, sport equipments, books, etc.), village roads, market place, village gathering place, water reservoir for villages, medical clinic, place of worship, recovery act after national desaster. 

Home industry in surrounding project site area has also been IKPt's concern, to assist them in their productivities, quality and self reliance.  These vluntary socail acts are the reflection of IKPT's spirits and culture to help other people.
